Divine Favor invisible? - Guild Wars Forums

I believe my Divine Favor is working, but it does not show any extra blue + numbers, nor does it show a higher amount of blue + when I heal. When I heal others and myself with Divine Boon, it will show the additional +52 or so, and when I heal myself, it shows the additional +28 from Divine Favor, but when I heal others, say with Orison, it only shows the Orison's +57.

Am I missing something? It seems as if my Divine Favor is not working on teammates, when it clearly says "allies."

I have tested this before, and you can rest assured that your Divine Favour is working just fine on your teammates.

If you still have doubts, try refunding all your Divine Favour points and rush a large group of monsters with some henchmen. You'll be sure to notice a difference.

The other way to do it is cast a prot spell and watch your teammate's life bar.

You know DF is working when you see that bar go up even if the spell isn't supposed to be doing any healing.

Ok, thanks. I'll take your word for it until I can go test it correctly myself. As you know, it's hard to see +32 health on a teammate if it doesn't show the numbers when they are healing/dying at extreme rates. Need to go test it in a peaceful environment.

It won't show that you're healing the extra health because you aren't divine favor is(think of it as a god above healing, not yourself)

eA-Zaku: I was wondering the same, because I seemed to recall that before last game update the divine favor bonus WAS visible on both allies and yourself. Did some tests with a friend yesterday and I can confirm that divine favor works just fine. It's just not visible any more on allies.

Divine Favor works perfectly fine, but it only displays the blue +X numbers above your head, just like Tetris L said.

I think the person receiving the healing can see the healing due to divine favor but not the monk. Could be a bug.

That's how it is now, right.

But I'm pretty sure that BEFORE last Wednesday's update the casting monk himself could see the DF bonus too. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If I'm right I wonder why ANet would change something like this. Makes no sense to me.

For spells like Heal Area and Heal Party only you get the bonus.
